Training Courses

Power BI Training

Looking to get the most out of Power BI in your organization? We offer a 2 hour training course to help your users connect to Power BI data sources and build interactive reports and dashboards. Please contact us for more information.

Microsoft Excel Training

We offer on-site Excel training courses that are tailored to the needs of each customer. Tim Bush has ten years’ experience as an analyst and is an Excel power user. Our standard course runs for 3 hours and covers these topics:

• Excel screen layout and navigation.
• Freeze panes, hiding cells / worksheets and working with two Excel documents at once.

• Basic calculations and formulas (sum, min, max, count, average etc).
• Dragging formulas across and down to populate a worksheet.
• Absolute references.
• Tables, conditional formatting, sorting and filtering.
• Advanced formula (sumif, sumifs, countif and vlookup).
• Trace precedents and dependants.
• Pivot tables and charts.
• Slicers & timelines.
• Mail merge in Word using an Excel spreadsheet.

We can also cover more advanced topics such as importing external data into Excel, converting text to columns, Get and Transform Data (Power Query) and Power Pivot.
